Acer Earns 11 Red Dot Awards for Product Design

Eleven Acer products have earned a total of twelve 2020 Red Dot Awards for product excellence and design innovation. The Predator gaming line swept up the most awards with its notebook, chair and monitors. The Predator Thronos Air gaming chair also won the Red Dot Innovation Products Award, which is bestowed to products that set new standards and lay the foundations for fundamental industry change*. The ConceptD desktop and notebooks for creators took three awards, and the rest went to Acer’s range of professional and thin-and-light notebooks and a projector.

The Red Dot Award is an internationally recognized award that aims to applaud innovative companies, praise excellence in concept design and ultimately recognize those responsible for tomorrow’s trends. An international jury of design experts with a variety of backgrounds assess each submission on its own individual merits.

Predator Helios 700 Gaming Notebook

The Predator Helios 700 is a monolith of a gaming computer that pushes performance limits and challenges the status quo of notebook design.
